There's an obvious imbalance of power in the industry and it's one Swift painted an incredibly clear picture of when she accepted a Grammy award for Album of the Year in 2016 with only men (opens in a new tab) standing behind her. There's a larger problem, too: the lack of infrastructure in place to support women.
